This oil has been done in a single 12 hour session which means it’s a little rough in places. I could let it dry and then smooth everything out with glazes but personally I think ‘alla prima’ paintings are the best. I know that if I was buying an original oil I’d want to see all the brush strokes (and XXXX ups!) and you get plenty of both here!
