This is the cover artwork for issue 202 of The Dark Side magazine; the best selling horror magazine in the world! And it’s all down to ME!!!!!!! Only joking of course, they could stick Linnea Quigley taking a poop on the cover and still sell every copy. Probably to me!
I do take pride in having created over 80 Dark Side covers though. Probably only the great Norman Rockwell has produced more oil painted covers on the trot for a single magazine, which was The Saturday Evening Post in the 40’s and 50’s. He didn’t beat me by much however; he only created 321 of the buggers!
I still think my legacy is greater though because The Saturday Evening Post is shite compared to The Dark Side!
