Total Recall

Back in 80’s I had the busiest steakhouse in Rushden. Mind you, it was the only steakhouse in Rushden, but that wasn’t why it was busy. It did well because I had a big, flash TV mounted up on the wall that played grade ‘A’ pirate videos constantly. The three biggest hits were The Running Man (coming up next!) Elvira, Mistress Of The Dark (come up too many times already) and Pacific Heights (yet to come up and probably never will). Then 1990 came along and for the next 12 months nothing else got a look in because I got my fat, sweaty hands on……Total Recall!!!!!
Oh my God, what a movie. Great story, great animatronics, the best ever Arnie and the lipsmackingly luscious Sharon Stone who would soon need no introduction (or panties!) as she went on to massive fame in Basic Instinct.
This just might be the best film I’ve ever painted. Heck, it might be the best painting I’ve ever painted!
