I only ever submit my best stuff for Dark Side covers and I think this painting qualifies as one of my better ones. Mind you, I’ve painted Ingrid Pitt and Madeline Smith so many times that I can almost do ’em without any reference pictures. For this one I dug up an old black and white snap and copied that. I usually like to make up my own scenario’s but this one is so perfect it can’t be bettered.
