A lot of folks rate Plague Of The Zombies and The Reptile as two of their favorite Hammer horror films but both movies suffer from some pretty sloppy continuity and aggravating scenes such as ‘rain’ falling down on obviously bright, sunny days. But the good stuff cancels out the bad and the ‘goodest’ stuff in these two films is undoubtedly Jacqueline Pearce. I’ve painted her several times and gotten her OK but this, I think, is the nicest portrait I’ve done of her.
Not a bad one of her ‘snaked up’ either!
