When I was a kid growing up in Montana I never missed a Roger Corman movie. Along with my pals I’d drink in the stunning poster artwork, buy a ticket and then three hours later trudge out of the cinema moaning about the pile of shite we’d just sat through. Then Roger’s next release would come out and we’d do it all again! Stuff like Attack Of The Giant Leeches and Night Of The Blood Beast was pretty lame even back in the late 50’s but then in 1960 Corman slipped up and (with a little help from Edgar Allan Poe) actually started making GOOD movies!
