I used to box a bit as a kid which was always a painful experience; at least it was for me! I only had a handful of bouts, all of which saw me scraped off the canvas and carried from the ring in tears. Each time I swore I’d never box again but as I’m not the brightest bulb in the box I’d soon forget how miserable the experience was and I’d be back to get splatted again a month later.
I mention this because whenever I do one of these montage type Dark Side covers I promise myself I’ll never do another because believe me, they are a pain! Oil paint isn’t the easiest medium to use when you want to capture likenesses and the fun is multiplied when you have six characters to render. Still, enough of my bellyaching, here’s one of my best montages and hopefully you’ll help ease the pain by buying a splendid print!
