I sketched this one onto canvas paper a couple of years back but then had doubts that it would find a market so I popped it away in my ‘maybe one day’ folder along with my Susan Boyle’s Farm Yard Frolics etchings. However, I’ve been so tied up with the Stunningly Savage book lately that I haven’t had time to research material for new paintings so I got stuck into ol’ Bela here and I think he turned out rather well.
We’ve got a big World Cup match on Saturday (heck yes, we’re still in it!!!) but hopefully on Sunday I’ll be free to whip my stuff out and get stuck into Susan Boyle!
