Like all the oils in my Classic Horror Series this piece has been created to a high standard, having been put together over a 4 day period which entailed preliminary sketches, burnt umber under painting and the finished painting proper. Yep, it’s way too good for you bums! Mind you, not everybody would class The Alligator People as ‘classic horror’ but I love these 1950’s shlock fests and I’ve got several more planned over the next few months. All of these will be published in The Dark Side magazine and possibly as Blu-Ray covers. I say possibly because these are ‘stand alone’ paintings and I don’t want to leave gaps for film titles or cram the artwork onto a square Blu-Ray template. And of course, the money sucks!
