“All exploitive art should look like it’s been knocked up at 5am by some wasted bum who once had talent but is now seriously on the slide.”

Suzi Goes To Bridlington

Yep, I know ‘Suzi Goes To Bridlington’ is a bit of a sappy title but as my (sadly fictitious) 18 year old niece is British, all her adventures in The Dark Side magazine take place in towns with stupid names. Glen Campbell, Gene Pitney and Tony Christie should be thankful that their hits weren’t written by English song writers otherwise they’d have been singing ‘By The Time I Get To Biggleswade’, ’24 Hours From Toddle On The Wold’ and Tony would have been asking if ‘Is This The Way To Shitterton’ where his sweet Ida waits for him!
