I did about 30 DVD and Blu Ray covers for Arrow Video, most of ’em for Italian Giallo films. God I hated them, both the films and my tacky covers! Now, I realize that these movies are held in high regard by my fellow horror aficionados but I just can’t get by the lousy dubbing. It’s not only that the characters lips are flapping away out of synch, it’s also the horrendous sat nav style delivery of the folks doing the voice overs. Mind you, I’d be p*ssed off too, having to yap lines out of someone else’s mouth, especially when I think I should be bigger than Brando!
