Ol’ Pumpkinhead looks a bit dated nowadays but the Stan Winstone animatronics are superb. How anyone can prefer looking at the bunch of floating pixels you get in todays CGI laden fare is beyond me. Obviously quite a few folks don’t, because it’s notable that even herky jerky stop-motion animation is making something of a come back. What next, illustrators doing horror magazine covers in oil paint??!!
