POSTER GIRLS SERIES No1

It’s always exciting starting a new painting series. Sometimes they are really successful and other times…. not so much. Successes are my ‘WET’ and ‘SUZI GOES TO…’ compilations and failures; well, there’s been many but ‘THE CLASSIC FILMS OF ED WOOD’ and SUSAN BOYLE’S FARMYARD FROLICS spring immediately to mind. POSTER GIRLS hopefully will fall into the success bracket because they’re really fun to do as they combine my two favorite things to paint – Creature Feature movies and beautiful women.
I started the initial sketch for JAWS just this morning; I’ve roughed in the poster and the girl, now I’ve just got to find a way to shoehorn a Great White into her living room!
