There are two movies that had a profound effect on the subject matter of my paintings. Blade Runner and Masque of the Red Death. The former because it turned me on to rainy backgrounds and the latter because Hazel Court bouncing through dry ice in a see through nightdress just really turned me on! Sadly, Hazel doesn’t feature much in this piece as Paul McCartney’s old squeeze takes center stage but stay tuned for a really sexy Hazel Court painting in The Man Who Could Cheat Death. First up though, I’ve got to do a cover for a brand new Sci Fi magazine and coincidentally they’ve asked for Blade Runner so all my Christmas’s have come at once!
