I’ve been given permission to use a lot of artistic license on these Universal horror paintings and as you can see, I’m taking advantage of it! It’s really boring working from stills and reference photos so it’s good to let loose and use my imagination again. Of course, I worked like this with a lot of the Arrow Video covers and I nearly got lynched over some of them! I still think the image is more interesting than all those traced montage type DVD covers you see about nowadays but I have to admit most distributors prefer stuff done from stills. Fortunately these are for a private punter so I can pretty much please myself. And look; third one on the trot with no tits!
