Now, this IS a classic horror movie! The girl in the painting is the love interest in the movie, Barbara Griselle, played by Kim Parker. Kim reportedly had a bit of a potty mouth and upset Boris Karloff with some of her smutty stories and filthy jokes. Although she never went on to major stardom she should be enshrined in the Hollywood Hall Of Fame for that achievement alone!
