Painting this one was a sombre experience because I’m old enough to remember Sharon Tate’s murder (actually, I’m old enough to remember Abe Lincoln’s murder!) and I put a little more care into it than some of my other jobs. Designed as a Dark Side cover, for no other reason than editor Allan Bryce and myself are huge fans. Let’s hope you guys are too!
