Sometimes I’ll fall in love with a picture halfway through painting it, dooming the finished piece in the process because I get all precious about it. Fortunately that hasn’t happened with this magazine cover submission. Even though I really like it, I’ve painted enough Evil Dead pieces to know that they work best when approached with the same brutal attitude that permeates the franchise so I really went to town slapping the paint in on this sucker!
