Dracula Article Illustration Three

This is the third of my new Dracula paintings which are being done to illustrate an article on Hammer’s most iconic villain. This varies a bit from the other pieces as it’s been designed as a cover which means I upped the drama and added a bit more titillation to make it stand out on the shelves.

Sadly, the current situation has resulted in most magazine and book retailers not restocking their shelves and with Barnes and Noble (the main outlet for The Dark Side in the States) turning away product it makes sense to put ol’ Drac on hold for a while.

Obviously I’m a bit down in the dumps about it but hey, there’s plenty of folks who’ve got more to worry about than having to abandon their Dracula articles!
