My buddy Mike popped round today and remarked that my rough preliminary sketches look better than my finished oil paintings. Naturally this miffed me no end and I subjected him to a brutal moody silence, which’ll teach him not to muck with me! However, he stuck this piece into one of his black bespoke frames and I have to admit he might have a point.
