The great Vampirella artist, Joe Jusko, once said “the two toughest things to paint are beautiful women and big cats”. And he was dead right. I can knock out a decent wolf now and then but my tiger’s truly suck. Fortunately (for me!) the big fad for tiger paintings fizzled out about 30 years ago but classic oil painted pin-up’s are still in demand. At least I hope so because I’m just about to start a new series of ’em!
