Ballad In Blood

I’ve been doing quite a few mediabook and DVD covers for German distributor 8-Films and this is the latest. Like all the other jobs I’ve done for them, Ballad In Blood is a well made horror movie with great imagery and also like all the others it boasted a goddawful, boring poster for its cinema release.
I can’t recall when this trend for pedestrian posters started, or why, but one thing’s for certain; you’ll never get a pedestrian poster out of the ol’ Rickster, not unless you want me to paint somebody running over one!
