Only the second fantasy commission I’ve ever done where the subject actually posed for the picture. I thought it looked far too unnatural and wooden so sold it off cheap and did a drawing instead (see: Dead Bird) which was much better and cost the customer a lot less. You might have noticed that several of these commissions don’t work out or had to be redone for one reason or other but that’s all part of the fun. (Aaaaargh!) I always get there in the end!
