BARBARA SHELLEY

Information

The first hour of Dracula, Prince of Darkness must be one of the most bum numbingly boring hours in cinema. Back in '66 we macho teenies were burying ourselves in a blizzard of popcorn as we chucked the stuff at each other in an effort to alleviate the tedium. The film wasn't helped by the incredibly dull four principles, the dullest of which was the frigid sexless Helen played by Barbara Shelley. But then the fangs came out, Babs hair came down and our popcorn boxes were elevated out of our laps to unheard of heights! Barbara Shelly doesn't need to buy big fat bee sting lips or a pair of gigantic silicon pals to be sexy. Just this look is enough!
