Both The Reptile and The Gorgon would have been absolute classics if Hammer boss Michael Carreras had spent a little more and gotten Ray Harryhausen to do his fantastic stop motion effects for the titular critters. I still have rubber snake fun to look forward to with The Gorgon but meanwhile here's the somewhat wooden headed Reptile to be going on with. Mind you, even a paper Mache noggin with ping ball eyes is preferable to the CGI cartoony crud we're lumbered with now!
